Many, many thanks to Marc Friedrich for posting the 1961 catalog. I purchased this boat 2 years ago, have checked this site from time to time, called Crestliner and had them look in old records, sent them pictures, but to no avail. I could not find anything to match my model no. 1730. The registration with the boat listed it as a 1965. Alas, the boat is a 1961. However, when purchased all that is left from years of modifications is the hull. The bow piece was chopped by a rather steady hand, no windshield, nor benches or seats. I was to the point of just making it a "functional" fishing boat until I saw the color picture from the 1961 catalog, now I am determined to start putting together prices to see about a full restoration. I will keep this site posted should I find it is an affordable project, both from time and money. Thanks again to Marc!
