Just brought home a '58 Explorer with intact hardtop. Actually don't know if this is the 4th one, but there don't seem to be many around. I've enjoyed watching David's (dhammar) resto and have tried to contact him via email, no response yet. Any one know how to get in touch with him? Have pics but no way to post them since I don't use a photobucket type service. Love to show her to you guys. My other Crestliner resto was a '58 Commodore Speedster. Love these boats!

Paul

PS I have a new email addy, any idea how to update it on the forum?

Did you pick that boat up from westmont,il? On craigslist. I tried to talk the seller into selling me the top for my flyingcrest but he said another guy was coming that night to look at it and I couldn't make it there that fast.

crestflyer,
Yep that was me. Although I had already agreed on a price and a pick up date with the seller by the time you called him, you may have spoken with the seller's son on the East Coast. Can't believe that boat hung around for months on Craigslist. Saw the ad back in the Spring , but had just bought a Lone Star to restore. Hung on to the phone # and finally gave him a call and it was still there. I see you're in Joliet, I'm in Oak Park. It would be great to hook up and compare notes on the boats.
