Tomahawk Internationals Show update 7/19/12

We have 18 boats checked in, whose owners said they are coming to the meet.

We are planning a Crestliner cruise on Wed. the 1st of Aug. at 3:00 pm.

We will be giving out caps & visors to Crestliner owners who bring a boat.

Our new T shirts & souvenir posters have the Crestliner logo on them.

We will be selling a Larson Crestliner boat and TeeNee trailer that have been donated to our chapter. Things are looking good.

Please remind owners that if they are planning on participating in any or all meet activities, they need to be an AOMCI member. (They can join at the meet.)

Tomahawk Intl Boat & Motor Show 2012 to feature Crestliners

Tomahawk organizer, Bob DalleAve, has confirmed that antique or classic Crestliner aluminum boats will be featured in the 2012 International Boat & motor show at Tomahawk WI on Aug 1-4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Crestliner or Larson-Crestliner aluminum boat owners to enter their boats in this show. Boats do not have to be perfectly restored or finished to enter. They are interested in seeing different models and aren't concerned about duplications.

Please consider bringing your boat to this great event. Call Bob at 715-356-5649 to register, or register the day of the event! Participation requires membership in AOMCI. ...see aomci.org. $50 includes 2 yrs of membership, an additional $5 cost is required to enter.

Enter your retro Crestliner Boat in this boat & motor show !
Original, unrestored or restored condition, or in progress all okay, not worried about duplicates. Call Bob at 715-356-5649 to register or register when you arrive. Your boat will be on display inside a large building and you can also take your boat on the lake too and participate in boating parade.

To enter your boat you must be an aomci.org member $50 for 2 yrs includes 4 magazines per yr, 14 newsletters and other website priviledges. Participants can enter ahead of time, or the day of the event. Also costs an additional $5 to enter. Spectators are free, Camping on site tent or camper is $15 per night, register at the site.

So far there are 12 Crestliner boats registered for this event!

There will be 5 categories this year:
Crestliners, Wooden boats, pre-war racing boat motors, any boat motors with brass or bronze, any foreign made boat motors.

There will be Tomahawk hats, Crestliner tshirts, food, boat parade, buttons, vendors! Talk to Bob if you want to sell items outside.

Come back to this site soon and I will have a schedule of Tomahawk events so you can plan what day or day's to attend. Non- participants can attend at no charge.

NOTE: Boat Displays open entire time of show, visitors can look at the boats anytime during show times. Boats can be entered under best boat and motor display if desired.
