Hello, so far I have this accomplished on the Crestliner Sea Scout:  Primed-painted, flooring complete, lighting and tie downs complete, wiring reinstalled and operational, motor tuned up and ready to go, rear bench seat upholstered and front seats.  Installed new speedometer to impress my kids with and she's almost ready to put in the water.  This project has been almost as fun working on as it will be to have on the lake.  Crestliner sure does know how to build great boats.  Thinking of a name for her.....might go with "barely-a-wake".  I'll send photo's of my adventure the first time putting in as soon as I can.  Thanks all.  Kevin from Virginia.

I bought this boat from a guy for $125.00.  I immediately started stripping the boat as soon as I got it home...since then I have primed and painted it, installed new flooring and cut out new wood for bench seat (not upholstered yet). 

It has the original 28 HP Evinrude motor...runs excellent.  Steering is "tight" yet free turning and most everything that was on the boat in 1964 came with it when I bought it.  However, I am in need of the Crestliner emblems for the rear sides as the pop rivets are there but no emblems. 

It is almost complete and within 30 days or so I will send photos of the boat as completely restored as I can afford to restore it.  Thanks for your awesome website...and please if anyone has photos of a boat like mine I'd love to see them.  You can contact me at : [email protected] with questions or comments.
