Larson Boats were pre-Crestliner boats. The company was listed as Larson-Crestliner in the 1954 catalog and the Larson name was dropped in the 1955 Crestliner catalog.

See the 1954 catalog to view Larson-Crestliner models. Additional Larson boat restorations can be seen on viewer photos .

I came across a '52 Commodore 14'  (no motor) that a
co worker bought to get the motor. it is in what I would consider "good"
condition; no apparent dings, all the wood intact etc. Even has the bent
wood bows that fit in little pockets to hold the cover up when it is covered.
The only modification I can see is he put a pedestal in the bow for
a raised fishing seat and mounted a swivel seat in the rear on the last
seat.

Took it out last night for a couple of hours and it handled like a dream with
just my trolling motor. Fun to drive!

We wished we had taken our fishing gear, it was just to be a "boat run" but
everything worked do well we had plenty of time to fish if we had been
prepared!.

I will send more as we work on her, here's the corner plates etc. I transferred the title today and it says "'52 Larson Watercraft on the title. Check out the wood condition under the
seat covers that were tacked on.

It floats! And the fishing part seems to work too!
