I found the boat in a scrap yard in South Carolina, I was collecting a 1948 Feathercraft for restoration and I needed a trailer to transport my acquisition back to Knoxville TN. The Gator trailer had a Crestliner 14 ft Viking speedster which came with it, and the Feathercraft fitted on the top and so I bought both boats.
 
We live on the TVA lakes to the southwest of Knoxville and I have restored the boat for my wife to use as a runabout for meandering around the lake. The seating arrangement and fittings are manufactured in ash  to suit my wife's requirements and the restoration has been aided significantly be this web site and the help and advice of the members.
