I bought this 1956 Crestliner Sportsman 12' boat for $300. I don't have any before photos that showed how dull it looked. It had the original dead grass paint that was showing a lot of wear.

I wasn't interested in doing an exact restoration and wanted a fun color. I picked this bright yellow since I already have 2 other Crestliners in red and green and will be working soon on a 12' Jetstreak in turquoise.

It took a few weeks to restore the Sportsman and I enjoyed doing the work. While working on the boat I noticed that the seats had different woods that I believe are made of both Redwood and Mahogany.

Now that it's done, it will be fun to drive it around.
