I bought this 1962 Crestliner Arabian Imperial off of eBay for $26.00,
including the trailer in Sept-2006. When I went to pick it up, I could
tell that the entire floor would need to be replaced and the boat
repainted.
Once I got it home, I gutted the entire boat and started rebuilding
the interior, sanding the old paint off, repairing the glass, painting,
installing new hardware and mounting the engine. It was finally completed
and in the water on July 27, 2007.
The interior isn't a complete restoration to original, but works for
my purposes. My boys waited almost a year to start enjoy this boat
and now we take it out every weekend.
