| 1953 crestliner 14 foot runabout. I lost my drain plug. Its very small like 3/8th of an inch. Its not NPT. A garden hose washer pushes over the threds perfectly. HELP! Does anyone know this odd thred size? A 3/8" pipe nipple will not start but its as close as I can get with what I have. thank you, Gus |

Go to the top of this Forum and click on search - then enter the word Drain. There have been discussions about your model drain plug in the past. Your plug is around 3/4 inch in diameter, while from the mid-1950s on up, they were one inch (the one inchers are still available at dealers). If I remember right, the 3/4 inch plugs are no longer available, but check the past posts and you may find some options. If you have a friend who is a machinist, he/she can make you one. _________________ 57 Commander 12 Custom Deluxe 550
