"Beautiful Antique Crestliner Jetstreak 14-ft. Runabout
Vehicle Description

Up for auction is a classic 1958/59/60 (exact year unclear) Crestliner Jetstreak Boat (serial number 17614) with a completely refurbished 40-hp Sea King (by OMC) Outboard Motor (serial number 976463 and model number GG18805A) and restored Tee Nee Trailer. The boat and motor came from the personal collection of John Monahan of Little Falls, MN. John is famous for his boats and his work on them. He is a great guy and I hate to let this rig go - but I have too many boats and recently bought another "oldie" that I want to restore myself this winter. John did the Sea King "from the ground up" overhaul on this "like new" outboard and he has it tuned up and ready to go - just push the electric start button and listen to the purr. (All motor work was done late spring 2009.) As you can see from the photos, the upholstery is brand new (as is all of the seat wood). The entire hull is in excellent condition as the photos attest - only two spots to touch up with paint. Every little detail is right and everything is original that I can tell. This entire rig is 99% ready for the parade and/or show circuit - both in and out of the water. The boat has been stored in heated showroom conditions for years and has not touched the water during this period. I spent more time looking at it and polishing it than thinking about getting it wet. The Tee Nee trailer is a 2009 restoration project by a gentleman that I came to know by the name of Del who lives in Maple Grove, MN - another fine craftsman who specializes in Tee Nee trailers. I have a fair reserve on this package but am still willing to let it go at a loss - good bidding on this classic investment - get ready for some double-takes on the water and to add some show trophies to your collection.

Please feel free to contact me with questions - I will be happy to get back to you via email, or phone if you give me your number. Want a photo of something specific (like the cleanliness of the underside of the motor cover for example)? Just ask...

Thank you for your interest in this fine package! "
