Above are a couple of "before" pictures of a 12' Jetstreak I just rescued from a metal scrap yard in Connecticut. The pictures were taken after pressure washing which removed much of the loose paint. 

After looking at the catalogs I think it is a '59. The bow chocks are far forward on mine which doesn't seem to be the case in '58, where they are closer to the windshield. The original color under all those coats of paint is "Hawaiian Coral".

I have begun stripping the rest of the paint, which is about 50% complete. The boat is in good overall condition, but is missing most chrome trim pieces. I have a '56 mark 55 Merc with electric start which will work out nicely on this boat.  I will send more pictures as I progress.
